"A really fun festive event for the family and a way of helping others in the community at the same time"

Ready...steady...Christmas!

Get your family into the Christmas mood and kickstart your festive season at the annual Thame Festive Fun Run in aid of Florence Nightingale Hospice, organised by Thame & District Lions Club. Have some fun and fresh air for all the family as you prepare for the season of giving and sharing - every penny raised goes to Florence Nightingale Hospice, caring for people who are suffering from life-limiting illnesses, and supporting their families through a very difficult time - at Christmas and all year round.

What is the Festive Fun Run?

It's a 3k circular route which you can run, jog, walk, scoot or push a buggy or wheelchair round! It starts and finishes at Thame Town Hall. There'll be a very special visitor (white beard, red and white hat and clothes, drives a sleigh) cheering everyone on and saying hello to all the children!

There will also be a seasonal soundtrack provided by the Chiltern Handbell Ringers and Racquets Fitness Centre are sending their number one Fitness Elf to get everyone warmed up and ready for action!

Suitable for all ages and mobility levels!

It's open to the whole family, and the route is wheelchair, pushchair and mobility scooter-friendly. You can even bring the dog!
