Supporting others in a Challenge Event
If you know someone is undertaking a challenge, they may have created a page in VirginMoneyGiving or Justgiving which you can find by searching for their name or our charity name.
For the weekend of September 25th challenges being undertaken are:
Windsor Half Marathon (Robert Arnfield)
Oxford Marathon (Julie and Debbie)
Mount Kilimanjaro (Paul and Sheila Riches)
MIDNIGHT WALK
Our first, ladies only, Midnight Walk in Aylesbury raised over £60,000 in 2010. The 2011 event raised a similar amount. Have fun and help raise essential funds to support the work of the Florence Nightingale Hospice by participating in the next event.
The walk suits ladies of all abilities – take some exercise, make friends or remember a loved one. Teams can enter.
Minimum age 11 years. 11-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult who is also a registered walker.

PARACHUTE JUMPS!
If you have ever wanted to do a parachute jump here is your chance. We are looking for adventurous volunteers to make a fundraising parachute jump and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to jump for free!
There are 3 types of jump available -
- ‘Accelerated Freefall’ where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet
- ‘Tandem Skydive’ from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor
- ‘Static Line’ jump which is performed solo from up to 3,000 feet
and you can jump from any one of over 20 British Parachute Association approved airfields across the UK.
No experience necessary as all training is given and if you raise from 360.00 (depending on the type of jump you choose) you will receive your jump for free.

Make Every Mile Count..
Are you a runner? Are you looking for your next challenge?
Consider running for FNHC and every mile you run will make a real difference to our patients and their families. FNHC runners have crossed the finishing line at the Silverstone Half Marathon, the inaugural Brighton Marathon, Virgin London Marathon and Bristol 10k. A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone of them!
