Rules and Conditions for Entry into the Thame Festive Fun Run

Registration fees are non-refundable.

If you are part of a team EACH RUNNER must complete an entry form and add their team name.

The event will start at 10:00am and we would ask you to arrive in plenty of time to register and warm up.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis

Children aged 16 years of age or under on 3rd December 2017 will require parental consent to take part and must be accompanied by an adult, who must also register and take part in the event.

Buggies and pushchairs are welcome, but we ask you to start at the back of the run to avoid running over any of our Festive Fun Runners’ feet!

Once registered if you are unable to take part for any reason please let us know as soon as possible. You must not ‘give’ your place to anyone else.

We ask you to raise as much sponsorship as you can. If everyone who runs raises at least £50, we could raise an amazing £10,000 in one day!

All sponsorship money raised must be given directly to Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.

Participants are permitted to run, jog or walk – all our Festive Fun Runners will receive a medal, no matter what time they cross the finishing line.

The run takes place on public footpaths and care must be taken at all times

All runners are requested to be considerate to residents and visitors when running through residential areas.

Entrants with special requests or limited mobility are requested to contact the Fundraising Office prior to entering the event.

Festive doggy friends are invited to join in the fun but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Any photos taken by FNHC may be used by FNHC for promotional/fundraising activities. If you do not wish to be photographed or videoed, please let a member of staff or an FNHC volunteer know before the event begins.

To enter the VIP prize draw a donation of £1 is required, on receipt 1 entry will be entered in your name. The draw will take place on Sunday 3rd December 2017. There is no cash alternative.

Upon receipt of your registration form we will email you with an important information sheet about the day, including helpful hints about raising sponsorship money.

We encourage all participants to dress up in a festive outfit with all entries receiving a free Santa hat but it’s not compulsory.

The vast majority of people entering will not be serious runners. Our Festive Fun Run is all about taking part, so if you run, jog, walk or crawl we really don’t mind. The important thing is that you’re there with us on the day!
