Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity Buckinghamshire

"A first class palliative care service"

Hospice Services

Florence Nightingale Hospice was built in the late 1980′s, as a result of a successful local public appeal which raised over £500,000. The Hospice was handed over to the Health Authority in October 1989 for the benefit of the local population and is now managed by the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. In 2001 an extension was funded by the Charity, which now provides space for a Lymphoedema Clinic and Community Nurses office, and in 2015-2016 the Day Hospice was refurbished and extended, again funded by Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, with a large amount donated by The Walter Hazell Trust.

The aim of the Florence Nightingale Hospice is to provide a first class palliative care service which is accessible to the people of Aylesbury and the surrounding villages. A variety of services are offered to people within Buckinghamshire and parts of Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. Click here to see if we cover your catchment area.

All services are provided free of charge.
