Creating colour chaos for the Hospice at Green Park

Oct 10, 2017

Much fun was had getting absolutely covered in colour at Colour Rush on 8 October at Green Park, Aston Clinton in aid of Florence Nightingale Hospice’s Florrie’s Children’s Team.

Nearly 600 people of all ages and levels of fitness took on the 5k route and got showered with multi-coloured powder as they ran, jogged, toddled or walked through the five colour stations.

So far Colour Rushers have raised over £15,000 for the Hospice. The Charity is hoping that Colour Rushers will help to meet the target of £25,000 to help the Florrie’s Team support local families coping with children with life-limiting illnesses.

“A massive thank you to everyone who took part and raised money, to all our volunteers who marshalled and threw paint, and to the companies which supported the event who were Nuffield Health Aylesbury, Redrow Homes, Premier Windows, Home Tiles, Mix96, Arla Dairies, Visual Heights, Energy Generator Hire and Hirebase and to Your Café in the Park, The Works and Cafe2U who provided refreshments,” said Head of Fundraising, Jo Turner.
