Celebrate the 10th year of the Midnight Walk with us this year.

“The Midnight Walk is such an inspiring event to take part in and plays a huge role in our fundraising for the Hospice. We hope that this 10th Anniversary walk will be a record-breaker with the highest number of walkers ever.”

Our first Midnight Walk was in 2010 with 550 ladies walking up to 12 miles and raised £65,000.

By 2018 the event had opened up to include men and become one of our key fundraising events. Over the past 9 years Midnight Walkers have raised over £500,000 towards running Florence Nightingale Hospice.

Join us for an amazing night on Saturday 22nd June with hundreds of other ladies, gentlemen and children to celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost and the work that the Hospice does to provide comfort to those in need.

Choose from our 5 mile or 10 miles circular routes – both starting from Aylesbury College at midnight with entertainment along the way.

Register by 28th February 2019 to take advantage of our Early Bird offer of £17 per participant. All participants will receive a souvenir 10th Anniversary Midnight Walk T-shirt and Finisher’s Medal.

Sponsorship plays a huge role in the amount we can raise from this event so we ask that all Walkers commit to asking friends, family, colleagues and workplaces for sponsorship for taking part, but there is no minimum sponsorship requirement.Click here to download the Midnight Walk Sponsorship Form.

You can also click here to go to the Midnight Walk justgiving page where you can set up your own sponsorship page to raise money online. This is a really effective way to raise awareness of your participation in the event and reach a wider group of people to ask for sponsorship.

The hospice provides a range of palliative and end-of-life care services to people across Buckinghamshire and parts of Oxfordshire and south Bedfordshire.

It offers both an In-Patient Unit and Day Hospice alongside supporting patients in their home through the Nightingale 24/7 Care and Community Nursing Teams.

The Hospice also runs the Lymphoedema Clinic and cares for and supports families and friends of patients, through the Bereavement Support Team and Florrie’s Children’s Team
