Christmas can be a very emotional occasion, a time when we particularly think of loved ones who are no longer with us.

This year has had enormous challenges for everybody, and sadly, many people have faced the loss of a loved one with little outlet to express their feelings properly. Whilst we cannot meet in person, here at Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity we felt it was incredibly important to create a safe space and set aside time for reflection.

From 5pm on Sunday 6th December our virtual Time to Reflect service will be available to view with input from Hospice and Bucks Healthcare Trust staff as they share their thoughts, experiences and the realities of Covid-19. There will also be readings and music as we light a candle to take a moment of reflection and remembrance.

You can also dedicate a memory of someone special to our online Tree of Light remembrance page. These dedications will be printed as usual in our Books of Honour which we hope to be available to display at a later event in 2021. The names of those included in the Books of Honour will also feature in an edition of The Bucks Herald in December if you wish.
