The ultimate dare to show you care.
It’s exhilarating, it’s scary, it’s certainly different and your friends and family might well think you are crazy to do it, but wing-walking is becoming the next big thing for those looking for an attention-grabbing fundraising challenge.

Strapped into the five point harness on top of the wing of a biplane, riders take off for a ten minute adrenalin rush that includes rapid descents and climbs at speeds up to 130mph and up to 600 feet above the ground.

Anyone aged between 18-65 years can do it, and up to 75 years of age with a GP’s declaration to say you are in good health, but you must weigh less than 77kgs (12 stone).

Registration is £100 (non-refundable) and the fundraising target is £600.

The Wing Walk for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity will take place next spring at Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Essex. Date to be confirmed.

On the day, you will need to be there for 1.15pm with the initial briefing taking place at 1.30pm.

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity has partnered with Aerobic Tactics Ltd. who provide wing-walking experiences for fun or fundraising.
