The 24th Aylesbury Beer Festival moved to Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School for 2017 and it seems the new location was a crowd-pleaser, with numbers up by over 30% on last year.
Not only that, the Festival attracted over 40 sponsors of beer and cider barrels, meaning there was a greater choice of flavours than ever before. Festival-goers responded enthusiastically, buying a record-breaking 1,670 pints and raising £5,382 for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.
Music was provided all day on Saturday by bands such as Reflexions, De Ja Vu and Ukolade, while there was a great choice of eleven different gourmet sausages and a range of hot meals on Saturday evening. For non-ale enthusiasts, there was local boutique gin brand Griffiths Brothers Gin as well as prosecco, wine and soft drinks on sale at The Other Bar.
